Busy day getting ready for the open house at work tomorrow. Looking forward to showing off our new building but I'll be glad when it's over, too, and we can get back to normal.
Going out for dinner tonight, probably to The Old Stone.

Another day
So the house is getting back to it's new normal after the Labor Day/ Peach Festival activities. Two of my three are back on their campuses, and my third, who lives at home while attending a local university, is still waiting for classes to start because the professors are on strike. I wish I'd known...I wouldn't have paid his tuition until they actually get started.
Our office at Samaritan House (where I work) has been closed but we have been working anyway. That's ok. I love it.

New Beginnings
Welcome! My name is Kelly, and I decided to start this blog to help me guide my way into the second half of my life. Ok, so technically, at 47, I probably entered the second half of my life a little while ago, but I don't choose to think so.
We just moved our youngest child and only daughter to college a few days ago. I still have one son who lives at home while attending a local university, but between his classes, work and social life...I'm not really sure he lives here!
Anyway, I don't feel anywhere near 47 years old. In fact, I kind of feel like I did at the time I first got pregnant at 26. I feel 26. So, when all is said and done, I'm really looking forward to this second half.
